the clean rooms are big and have a seperate living-room with a little kitchen, but the you can see that the furniture is a little bit "old-fashioned"; the stuff very friendly and helpfully; the pool is not very big and the surrounding not really beautyfull; the breakfast-buffet offers nothing special and the breakfastroom is very cold because of the a.c.; the pick-up-service is excellent, a big comfortable limousine (they have a contract with the service of the neighboured shangrila-hotel); the location is a little separated from the shopping-area but with taxi (or back with tuc-tuc) it is no problem; a very good indian restaurant is only a few minutes walk; only a short distance walk is a robinson-mall and the nice chao phraya, too. it is not expensive and therefor a good adress to stay in bangkok!
