It was far from a station, I had to take a taxi to a train station to go anywhere. Besides that, everything was good, quiet, relaxing, not too many tourists, suite rooms, clean, nice staff.

I visit Thailand a lot. Recently, many of the hotels in the Sukhumvit area that were previously great places to stay have lost their appeal thanks to a loss of gloss and increased prices. Oakwood is a great alternative - a short taxi ride (or free shuttle bus)from the sky train/MRT. Great hotel - great rooms - really helpful staff - great prices. The only thing in need of improvement is the breakfast! (But even that´s OK)

This place is in the mid of the city... but feel safe and relaxed. The area has lots of trees and gardens. Pool area is just lovely! The pool itself is in the middle of the garden.
