The best mention should be of the staff, who swept us girls off our feet as we were extremely moved by the hospitality of the staff here, including the bellboy, the security officers outside, the reception staff, the chambermaids, waiters and waitresses etc. They were warm, friendly and helpful. For example, the map of the hotel would be given before we leave the hotel to ensure a safe arrival back at the hotel. Furthermore, the hotel is also furnished and decorated in good taste. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Though we didnt have time to swim, we appreciated the swimming pool anyway. By the way, the breakfast buffet was good! The spread was satisfying and varied enough to keep us happy for 3 days. Lastly, the location might seem far from town, but its only a short taxi ride away from all the shopping attractions. Its also a mere 15 min leisurely walk to the nearest BTS station. So all in all, I´ll definitely go back when i return to Bangkok. Was this review helpful? Good value for money. Good location :) Beware if you look local as they would mistake you for a hooker. My friend and I stayed here last October. It was around 11.00 pm, after watching the cabaret show (which was very nice)in a different hotel, we were on our way to our room, when the security approached us and spoke to us in Thai, i don´t understand thai but it was very clear in his body language that he was sending us away. He wasn´t very apologetic even when he found out that we were not Thais and that we are guests in the hotel. He even said that he´s just doing his job. Fair enough. We just laugh about it. Pool was VERY cold - doesn´t get much sun b/t the twin towers. Had to pay extra for the exercise room, which wasn´t noted in their ad. Have never had to do that before. I just needed a hotel for 13 hours in Bangkok and honestly choose this hotel solely based on the price. To my suprise this hotel turned out to be much better than expected. Nice lobby entrance, excellent lunch buffet, although packed with Japanese tourists, quite spacious rooms and a 15 minute walk to MBK and SIAM Square. The bathroom needs an upgrade but that´s a minor point. I wish I could have had the complimentary breakfast but my flight was at 6 am, but I received a breakfast box to take with me to the airport. It is enough to explain how good this hotel is. great comfort, good location at affordable reasonable price. Rooms are really spacious, and almost everything is provided in the room. It was obvious that the hotel had ben renovated since my last stay, which makes it more comfortable. Nothing much to pick on, except that they can make the room more modern to attract more customers.
