We had a 2 days stay in this hotel. The worst was that we found cockroaches after we return to the room after clubbing. The washstand in the bathroom needed repair(the water was running under it. I am not recomending this hotel. When we returned back to bangkok (after our trip in Phuket) we stayed in another hotel.

We stayed in the newer part of this hotel(which is recomended). Upon arival we were upgraded. The room was comfortable and pleasant, and the views were amazing. Nice swimming pool. The staff didn´t always understand what you were asking for, but always tried to be helpful. I am considering returning this year.

I like everything in here. The one problem is your hotel didnt provide an empty jug for us to make hot boiling water.Everytime we need hot water, we just call the hotel service and this is really bored.

Though we stayed at the old building, which wasnt that nice...(recommend the new building.Take note!!) we really enjoyed our stay. The staffs were very friendly and the General Manager himself helped us alot. He organised games and dinner and presents for us for it was a company trip. He was very patient and approachable though our "head" was very fussy...The staffs were more than willing to help though their command of english wasnt that tremendous but they did put in effort. But maybe the breakfast should change. We had the same thing everyday and it doesnt taste that marvelous. Can do better. Oh ya by the way First Hotel used to be one of the best hotel in Bangkok... Watever it is, i strongly recommend this hotel for their friendly and warm service. Try the new building...

the staffs are all friendly and willing to provide wonderful services. but when things get busy there, customers tend to get forgotten until we call out to them. but i really love to eat there cos of the wonderful foods and all and cheap pricing.

The decor is a little old, and needs updating. It was clean, maid service was good. By 7AM the breakfast buffet was getting cold. I have been going to Bangkok twice a year for the past 4 years, and always stay at this hotel. It is improving each time I go. Good value for the money.
