Springfield Village, Golf & Spa offer 27 holes of top flight gold designed by Jack Nicklaus and Schmidt & Curly Gold Design. Course A is the mountain course. Course B is the lake course. Course C is the valley course. A fourth course is currently being designed and constructed

The course its self has been designed to meet the needs of a championship course, but maintains an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all standards. Starting with a par 4 the first hole is a gentle 367 yards from the white tee, and on appearance looks to be quite simple. Hopes can quickly fade, as the well protected green can prove difficult & requires accuracy. Overall with the cleverly devised layout, views over streams, lakes & the gulf of Thailand, you will find this course very addictive.

Springfield offers other first class facilities apart from the course. The club house was constructed in an elevated position that will leave you with a lasting impression. The interior is beautifully finished in polished marble & granite, and portrays a feeling of opulence associated with grand palaces.

The condition of the course has improved tremendously in the last month. It is all down to using fertilizer on the tees and fairways - something they hardly ever used to do here. Now there is a beautiful growth of grass and the course is a pleasure to play again. Keep up the good work Springfield and do continue to use the fertilizer every month or so. If you could just stop over watering slightly the course would be perfect.

Beautiful clubhouse and excellent caddies but the course condition is very poor. You need to sort out your maintenance and return this course to its former glory.

This used to be a wonderful course but is now going downhill due to bad maintenance. Instead of re-turfing damaged ares they throw down loads of sand and the greens are inconsistent. Fairways are okay at this time of year but if you go in the dry season they are vastly over watered and that maybe explains the lack of water in their biggest lake. With good maintenance this would be a top ten course in Thailand but I dont think the management realise what a poor job is being done. Presently building a new course and a large hotel which look good but I fear for this lovely courses future, with the present management. Please put it right and then this will be good value for money despite being expensive.

Played Springfield last week and the course was in its usual good condition. However, I find the green fees terribly expensive for a weekday in May. Further, it was a bit strange that the cashier didn't issue a receipt. I wonder what that is all about???

Overall the A & B portion of the golf course is very good and is an excellent challenge from the back tees. The rough is very tricky due to the type of grass used and you may need to use a lower club to get the results you want?(Course A portion was currently shut down for maintenance)They have finally got the putting ad chipping green available that was out of commission for over 7 months.(Heartland Golf School Section) The new C course is not in good overall condition and the 9th hole on this new addition has a very poorly designed green. Considering the current cost and the fact that it is rumored to be going up in the near future they need to improve their course and I definietly recommend not playing the C Course if possible.

Trying to force customers to use the C course will only turn people off this previously great course. The C course is badly designed and in bad condition. A complete rebuild of the 9th green is required. Needs strong management here to sort out the problems quickly. Could be a great course again.

Played the new 9 holes for the first time. What a shambles - stupid design intended to frustrate and the fairway condition is awful. You should close this 9 until the condition is better. As for the original course - the fairways are awful as well although the greens are good. Used to enjoy playing this course but the maintenance is now bad - especially fairways.

if you wanna get a real teste of golf, try a links-course. the new "C" could mimic just that, thruogh 2nd-8th hole of the C course, play, feel and windy like links-course 'cept for there is no ocean there. it's too bad that they are planting trees along the side of fairways, when all those mature the course won't deliver the links-feel anymore, so get it while you still can.

Played for 2 weeks in the area, AB is in top condition, fairways could be a bit better though. Greens true and good pace for amateurs. C course is now getting better. The closure did the course good. 3 Marshalls take care of good pace of play. Staff is friendly and caddies are the best in the area. Price : a little pricy if you have the pay the whole price. Otherwise best Value 4 money around.

The A-B course is in excellent condition, a big improvement from early last year. The new C course needs to mature, has some beautiful sceneries, but is too difficult for the ordinary weekend golfer.

11nov,,Played this course twice in one week. Course in great shape and very challenging from blue teebox. Played AB course. Caddie was good, her name was NIN,, golden caddie at Springfield. Course is very walkable, and plenty of places to purchase refreshments during the round. It is high season, so the rates are quite high. Very nice experience nevertheless.

Just finished a round earlier today. Fairways were in excellent condition and the greens ran very true and were in really great shape on A & B. Too bad the bunkers were also great, and very well maintained especially considering the amount of rain lately. ( they managed to coax my ball into a couple awkward positions a few times!) Caddie I had was very good and did a terrific job start to finish. It was quiet in the early morning so the pace of play was not affected when we played. Regardless Springfields marshall is a great addition and I am impressed how he typically makes sure the pace of play is maintained from previous rounds. This is where Springfield has the upper hand on the local competitions courses, especially Lakeview in the busy season and is a much needed quality assurance issue that they need to maintain especially in the upcoming peak season. Numerous friends feel that it is priced way to high to play regularly versus the neighbouring courses and I tend to agree. Basically 4000 + baht a round now if you do not happen to be a member. One more good thing to point out is that the staff are very friendly from Pro Sop to Spa and the facilities are first class. Course was great today, and remember that first cut of rough is tricky here, so drop down and extra club and you will probaly have better results?
