Let yourself get closer to nature at Tri Yaan Na Ros House, the lovely colonial style guest house where you can feel at home. This small guest house/hotel was opened in January 2004 and provides 8 tastefully decorated and comfortable rooms. The hotel is decorated with genuine Lan Na style pieces of art and decorative items. It's located in Wualai, the old handicraft neighborhood of Chiang Mai famous for its silverware and lacquerware cottage industries. The night market and Tapae gate can be reached by taxi or bicycle within about 5 minutes. The hotel features a pool as well as a small restaurant which serves Thai and Western food. Rooms are decorated in fine wood, silk and traditional northern Thai handicrafts. They have satellite TV and telephone, air-conditioning, and a modern bathroom with a large terracotta bathtub.

Beautiful house which looks old, but is in fact new! Lovely Thai setting with an interior court with a lush garden and small, nice pool. The tree at the pool needs urgent trimming as its branches are already covering half of the pool. Not everyone likes to swim under the branches. The rooms are roma

The staff were attentive and friendly. Lovely resort ambience. Room was clean and delightfully cozy. Cable TV works with more than 40 channels. My only woes were the mosquitoes-irritating insects & the school next door. School bell ringing early in the morning wasn´t my cup of tea. But overall, a place worth staying to soak in the Thai hospitality.

The Tri Yaan Na Ros Colonial House, is a Very charming hotel with comfortable and tastefully furnished rooms. Staff were very helpful and friendly. There´s a good street market right outside the hotel on Saturdays and prices are much better than the more famous night market. My only grumble - lighting in the rooms, especially bathrooms, was too dim.

fantastic hotel, myself, husband and 2 children stayed here during the songran festival at Easter. Beautiful rooms with lots of character, a bit of a hike into the old town ( but way preferable to modern hotel blocks by the river)but we took cabs/tuk tuks everywhere which literally took minutes to zip around Chang Mai. We loved the hotel, charming and tucked away. No restaurant as yet, but breakfast is provided. Staff are lovely, really lovely. Ordered cabs and issued instructions for us.(We did the haggling ourselves!) Would definately stay here again for a small hotel that is different to the rest.
